Casper, Wyoming is home to Marilyn Ladd and has been for most of her life. But it was while living in Northern California that Marilyn formally became involved in a youth volunteer mentoring program. From that involvement, Marilyn clearly recognized the benefits of volunteering her time to help youth. When she returned to Wyoming she began volunteering her time with the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming, where she is currently serving as President of the Board of Directors. Marilyn and her husband, Bill, raised their three children in Casper. Together the family enjoyed an active life filled with snow skiing, water skiing and traveling throughout Wyoming and Montana while her children skied competitively. In addition to time spent with family pursuits, Marilyn taught CCD classes in the Catholic Church, helped to build the Casper Mountain Racers competitive program, and spent countless weekends at Hogadon Basin as a ski instructor. Marilyn also worked with her husband while operating Ladd Engineering Company, an engineering and surveying business that remains active in Wyoming today. From the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s, Marilyn experienced many successful years selling real estate in Santa Rosa, California. When she and Bill returned to Wyoming in 1994, Marilyn began selling real estate in Casper. She works at ReMax Real Estate in Casper. She also served on the Board of Directors at American National Bank for six years. Marilyn’s commitment to Casper and the state of Wyoming is equaled by her appreciation for the opportunity to live and work in such a great state.
